4cyl, no Panaray :(

Matching car driveways are the best driveways. Probably a good 50% of my desire for a Land Rover is motivated by wanting to see it parked next to my Jag.

That’s the grown up driveway. Then there’s the kids driveway with my bright ass red cruze and my stepbrother’s black Altima.

Did you drive it yet?
Ready for winter?
Taylor ham?
Lexus?
How’s life?
Can you save me from the hookers across the street at my job?

Why didn’t he wait for the v8?
![]() 09/22/2016 at 08:39 |

What color is it?
![]() 09/22/2016 at 08:40 |

We have up to 5 or 6 Toyotas/Lexus in our driveway at a time.

baller!!!!!!!

I’ve seen 2 of these in the last week. They look amazing in person.
How is it to drive/ride in from a Caddy connoisseur POV?
![]() 09/22/2016 at 08:49 |

I saw this family last night. Dad XJL, mom LR4. I approve completely

This or a GS/LS.

Wow. My car has more features on it than my dad’s car. However, my car used to be my mom’s, so there’s that, too. It would be like if you got the SRX from your mom and she bought something new.

He's a caddy dealer. He can get whatever he wants, whenever he wants.

your stepdad will never be your real dad.
![]() 09/22/2016 at 09:11 |

Haven't driven it yet, it's nice to ride in though.

White. I think.

Is he gonna put a landau top on it?
![]() 09/22/2016 at 09:16 |
|
Then why no panaray?
![]() 09/22/2016 at 09:20 |
|
No.
No.
You mean pork roll?
...has a V8 in their biggest sedan. Just sayin’
Good.
Simple. Don't work in Paterson.
![]() 09/22/2016 at 09:21 |

This.
![]() 09/22/2016 at 09:27 |

Because they don't have one in stock.
![]() 09/22/2016 at 09:27 |

Good. My real dad sucks.
![]() 09/22/2016 at 09:30 |

So he can’t get whatever he wants whenever he wants?
![]() 09/22/2016 at 09:31 |
|
When does the Landau top get put on?
![]() 09/22/2016 at 09:31 |
|
It’s pork roll.
![]() 09/22/2016 at 09:36 |

I like these. A lot. Is the 4 cylinder adequate?
Seems the power to weight ratio is comparable to my A4 but in a much larger, more stylish, Murican car.
![]() 09/22/2016 at 09:40 |
|
Then can I get an ATS-V? I can offer about tree fiddy.
![]() 09/22/2016 at 09:42 |
|
Haven’t driven it, but honestly, it’s a full size Cadillac. So anything smaller than 8 is wrong.
![]() 09/22/2016 at 09:51 |
|
Okay thanks the picture was a bit blurry I couldn’t tell.

![]() 09/22/2016 at 10:04 |

I’m echoing others in wanting to know if the 4cyl is big enough.
![]() 09/22/2016 at 10:12 |
|
Even if the power is adequate, no. It’s a bull size Cadillac. 4cyl is not big enough.
![]() 09/22/2016 at 10:14 |
|
Philosophically, I would agree. But these days, the 4-cylinder and 6 cylinder models have to shine just as brightly.
![]() 09/22/2016 at 10:22 |
|
I tend to agree.
![]() 09/22/2016 at 10:23 |

Does the A8 come with a 2.0L?
![]() 09/22/2016 at 10:23 |
|
4 bangers are useless, V6 is the handjob of motors. It’s okay, but you know what you REALLY want.
![]() 09/22/2016 at 10:24 |
|
Idk
![]() 09/22/2016 at 10:38 |

Audi A8 2.0L TFSI: 245HP.
Cadillac CT6 2.0L Turbo: 265HP.

2.0 ecotec? Nice Opel you got there pal.
![]() 09/22/2016 at 13:18 |

My 4 banger would disagree, but you do you
![]() 09/22/2016 at 13:19 |

How much legroom is in the back?
![]() 09/22/2016 at 13:41 |

I’m genuinely enamoured by these. They look awesome, the interior seems legit (regardless of what the press says) and the 2 litre seems to be a fine base motor. I mean, moar V8 for sure but for the casual driver, I’d say it’s perfect. When you get to drive it, I’d like to know how you feel it handles.
![]() 09/22/2016 at 13:49 |
|
Plenty.
![]() 09/22/2016 at 15:41 |
|
According to anonymous friends at GM proving grounds, because Cadillac went all in on weight saving, the 2.0 is just good enough.
![]() 09/22/2016 at 16:31 |
|
Ya’ know, that was such an unprovoked awful thing to say that I decided to look at your commenting history. Needless to say I was not impressed. A dozen or so hate-filled irrationally angry responses to people who said nothing provocative towards to you at all. I had thouht you were the classic troll, but it turns out you’re just an angry, sad man. I hope you have a wonderful day. Perhaps in time you can even learn to be happy.
![]() 09/22/2016 at 16:39 |

Right. Just looking at the performance numbers, it seems to compare very favorably to the car I currently drive (which I enjoy very much). And I get the added bonus of having so much more room for activities.
![]() 09/23/2016 at 03:31 |

It’s a hybrid and only available in Europe and China. FWD too I believe (yuck).
Has only 245 hp but has over 350 lb ft torque. Probably still super slow though. Sounds like a bit of an abomination.
A proper A8 has a V8 and AWD of course.
![]() 10/23/2016 at 19:34 |

There’s no 2.0 on the A8. Supercharged 3.0 V6 does exist though.
